Cruising the Chilean Fjords (Saturday, March 10)

As we left Puerto Charabuco yesterday evening, the rain ceased and the skies appeared through the haze.  A promise of things to come?
Nope.  We awoke to poor weather that stuck with us all day.  Nevertheless, cruising through the fjords was interesting.
This "U" shape is a distinctive tell-tale of where a glacier carved its way through the mountains.
Tomorrow we are scheduled for a pre-dawn arrival at the Amelia Glacier.  Fingers crossed that the weather will be better than today and better than the last time we saw the glacier (11 years ago) when sea-level visibility was good, but low clouds obscured much of the glacier.
